The Democratic Alliance (DA) is saddened by the passing of one of our Proportional Representative Councillors in Nelson Mandela Bay, Ms Koleka Osary Ngumbela.
Koleka was a member of the Nelson Mandela Bay caucus since 2016 where, among others, she served on the Human Resources and Corporate Administration Committee.
She was a hard-working, dedicated and committed councillor who strove to serve the residents of Nelson Mandela Bay and her contributions will be sorely missed.
She passed away yesterday evening, at the age of 69, following a short illness.
